Description: A series of five walks in the Newcastleton Forest. All are colour-coded. Blue – Ponds Walk, 0.6 miles, Easy. A gentle stroll beside the Priesthill and around the ponds, whch are home to bright dragonflies during the summer months. Suitable for those with limited mobility, wheelchairs and children's buggies.
Green – Drove Road, 1.8 miles, Moderate (allow 1 hour). Following part of the old drove road.
Purple – Viewpoint, 2 miles, Moderate, (allow 1¼ hours) Takes you to the summit of Priesthill with splendid views over the Liddel Water and beyond.
Red – Hanging Tree, 2.5 miles, Moderate,(allow 1½ hours) Follows the Drove Road and then enters old, established woodland.
Orange – Priesthill, 2.7 miles, Moderate, (allow 1¾ hours) Walk round the base of Priesthill ands see all the views on offer.
