As the parent company has gone into receivership, and the staff of Selkirk Glass have been paid off, this Visitor Centre is no longer open. The details have been left on this site in the hope that a recovery can be forthcoming.

Description:
Watch the skilled craftsmen at work producing art glass paperweights from the viewing area.

How to get there:
By car: On the A7 just at the north entrance to the town of Selkirk.
By public transport: Regular bus services between Galashiels, Selkirk and Hawick and on to Carlisle.

Seasonal opening details:
Open all year except Common Riding Friday and between Christmas and New Year Holiday period.

Opening Hours:
For Glassmaking demonstrations:
Monday to Saturday 9am to 4.30pm.

Shop and Cafeteria:
Mon to Friday 9am to 5pm
Saturday 9am to 5pm
Sunday 11am to 5pm.
(Last orders for meals 4pm)

Facilities:
Caf� providing light lunches, snacks and home bakes; and shop offering a wide range of items at factory prices.
