Description: The site of the best-known seal and bird colonies in the North East of England.

How to get there:
By car: Park in Seahouses and arrange a boat trip from Seahouses Harbour.
By public transport: Local bus service to Seahouses and then boat trip.

Seasonal opening details :
From April to August or September.
Breeding season from 1st May to 31st July - landings limited on some islands

Opening Hours:
MV Golden Gate does four sailings per day 10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 4.30pm
Times - dependent on tides, weather and sea conditions.
Landings usually on Staple Island in the mornings and Inner Farne in the afternoons during breeding season.

Admission (2007):
A 'landing fee' must be paid to the National Trust when landing on any of the bird sanctuaries.
This is separate to and additional to the Boat Fare.
1 April - 30 April & 1 August - 30 September:
ADULT �4.20 CHILD �2.10
1 May - 31 July: ADULT �5.20 CHILD �2.60
