By car: At the opposite end of the High Street from the Horse, where the newcastleton Road branches off.
By public transport: Regular bus services from the other border towns, Edinburgh and Carlisle to Hawick

Tuesday 10am till 7.45pm,
Wednesday (open for pre-arranged tours and talks ONLY), Thursday 10am till 7.45pm,
Friday 10am till 4.45pm,
Saturday 10am till 4.45pm (closed 1pm to 2pm)

Facilities:
Part of the Heart of Hawick which has facilities of caf�/bar, cinema/theatre and arts centre in Tower Mill, and exhibitions in Drumlanrig Tower Visitor Centre
