One of the 7 great houses of Scotland. Originally dating from the 13th century, it became the home of the Maitland family in the 16th century. The nursery has a unique collection of historic toys.

By car: On the outskirts of Lauder. Off the A68.
By public transport: Short walk from Lauder which has a regular bus service.

15th April 2008 until 28th June 2009 on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursdays
Bank Holidays 4th & 25th May 2009
July and August every day except Fridays and Saturdays
September on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays last day 30th September

Opening at 10.00am - Castle doors close at 3:00pm - Grounds close at 5:00pm

Special opening at other times can be arranged for pre-booked groups.
Minimum charge 20 persons or �130.00
