How to get there: By car: Up Roxburgh Street from Kelso Square. Gates are facing you. By public transport: Kelso has excellent bus services linking to Edinburgh, Berwick upon Tweed, Newcastle and along the Tweed Valley to Peebles via Melrose and Galashiels.
Seasonal opening details (2008): House and Gardens: 21st to 24th March and 1st May to to 31st October. Gardens, coffee shop , adventure playground and garden centre open all year.

Admission: 2008 Castle tour and Grounds ticket: Adults £6.50, Seniors and Students £5.50, Children (aged 5 – 16) £3.50, Children under 5 Free, Family (2 adults and 2/3 children) £16.
Grounds/Gardens only: Adult £3, Seniors £1.50, Children Under 16 Free.
